Taking advantage of our experience in the most important one design classes, ad in cooperation with the best trainers worldwide, we have decided to start and a new challenge for Zaoli Sails: to design, to develop and to produce Optimist sails suitable for winning top-level competitions.

With this purpose, we got two key people to join our design team: Luca Bursic (Optimist world champion in 1997) and Ramon Oliden (Optimist world champion in 1992). Our research resulted in prototypes featuring high performance, great finishings and a competitive price.
